Joyce and Paul Lim first opened the doors to Twisted Donuts & Coffee in August 2014. For this wife-and-husband team based out of San Francisco, it was a dream come true. Paul grew up around the donut business, since his dad ran his own donut shop in Southern California for over 20 years. Paul often helped out at the shop as a boy, and hoped to start his own business one day. After Joyce and Paul settled down in the Bay Area, the pair decided to open up their very own donut shop - but with a twist to the traditional treat. And hence the name, Twisted Donuts & Coffee, which debuted in the San Francisco Sunset District on August 26, 2014.
On the weekdays, Joyce and Paul feature the classic donuts, which are near and dear to Paul's heart. But on the weekends, things get a little crazy at the donut shop, with specialty donuts including the Nutty Monkey, Berry Crunchy, Baconpeno, S'Mores Galore, PB & J, Lemon Berry, Fruirrito, Pumpkin Fritters, Milky Way Under A-Salt, just to name a few!
Joyce and Paul are just a pair of donut lovers, hoping to share their passion and bring something unique and fun to their neighborhood. Besides donuts, they also love their friendly customers - come by, say hello, and enjoy a delicious treat!
